GAME: Black vs. White Spring Game, Saturday, April 27 at Reser Stadium.
TIME: 1:00 p.m. at Reser Stadium.
ADMISSION: No charge.
TV: None

TEAMS: Oregon State will draft teams for the Spring Game on Wednesday. The coaching staffs will be divided for the Spring Game. A coin toss on Wednesday will determine which team has first pick and also which uniform color.

THIS WEEK: Oregon State will practice Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Thursday's practice will be a split practice. The Black squad and the White team will hold separate practices on Thursday.

GAME FORMAT: The Spring Game will feature 12-minute quarters instead of regulation 15-minute quarters. There will be no kickoffs. Each drive will start at 30-yard line, or where the ball ends up following a punt. There will be no live punt returns. Coach Dennis Erickson will call plays for both teams.

INJURY REPORT: The following players will not participate in Saturday's Spring Game: Cornerback D.J. Coote (right knee), linebacker Jason Lowe (left knee), tailback Josh Farrell (left knee), tight end Tim Euhus (right knee) and safety Calvin Carlyle (left shoulder). The following players are questionable: Quarterback Shayne House (right shoulder) and punter/safety Ryan Cozzetto (right knee)

SEASON TICKET UPDATE: As of Monday, April 22, Oregon State has sold 21,036 season tickets for the 2002 season. Last year at this time the total was 20,376. OSU wound up selling out for the season with 23,011 season tickets, an all-time record. Matt Munnelly, OSU's Director of Ticket Operations, will make available 1,500 seats for purchase by fans on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Fans will be given an opportunity to choose your own seat in Reser Stadium from the 1,500 available seats. Fans will be able to locate an available seat, signified by a balloon, and return the accompanying tag to ticket office representatives located in the tent in section 19. The tag describes the proper donation level that is warranted for that seat. Payment may be made by check, cash, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover.

PREGAME ACTIVITIES: The OSU marketing department has a special Fan Pack available for the first 5,000 fans attending Saturday's Spring Game. The Fan Pack includes a roster, spring outlook, schedule card, brochure and autograph card. The entire Oregon State football team will be on the field at 11:45 a.m. for an autograph session. Fan Fair activities will start at 10 a.m. at Reser Stadium and run through 12:15 p.m.

BEAVER FUN RUN: Oregon State is also sponsoring a Beaver Fun Run Saturday at Reser Stadium. There will be a 10K run starting at 9 a.m. Registration for the Fun Run will take place between 7 and 8:30 a.m. at the Merritt Truax Indoor Center. DRAFT PICKS: The NFL drafted one Oregon State football player. Linebacker James Allen went in the third round to the New Orleans Saints. He was the 82nd taken overall.
