Randy Flores Gets The Big Call

ARLINGTON, Tex. -- The Texas Rangers today purchased the contract of former Trojan pitcher Randy Flores. The left-hander, who pitched at USC from 1994-97, becomes the 86th player in the program's history to play in the major leagues. Head coach Mike Gillespie has now coached 18 players who have played in the major leagues.

Flores is the school's all-time leader in wins (42), innings pitched (484 1/3) and complete games (22).
