Stanford In Sixth After Day Two At Pac-10 Championships

Walla Walla, Wash. - The Stanford women's golf team shot a 309 in the second round of the 2002 Pac-10 Championships and sit in sixth place overall with a 609. Arizona remains on top of the leaderboard with a 597, followed by UCLA (600), USC (605), Arizona State (606) and California (607).

UCLA's Yvonne Cho leads the field with a two-day total of one-under par 143.

Leading the Cardinal is freshman Wendra Liang (75-76--151) who is currently tied for 10th. Senior Jessica Belskis (76-78) and junior Kim Rowton (73-81) are tied for 17th with a 154. Sophomore Angela Rho checks in tied for 22nd at 155 (80-75) while fellow sophomore Kim Kouwabunpat (76-80) is right behind her, tied for 26 with a 156. Senior Salimah Mussani, competing as an individual, withdrew from competition.

Action concluded tomorrow at the Walla Walla Country Club in Walla Walla, Washington.
