Bruins Seventh after Three Rounds at Pac-10 Championships

The UCLA men's golf team is seventh after three rounds at the Pacific-10 Conference Championships, hosted by Oregon State at Trysting Tree Golf Club in Corvallis, OR.
The Bruins have a team score of 1110 and trail Oregon State and Stanford, which are tied for first at 1083. USC is third at 1085, Oregon is fourth at 1103 and Airzona is fifth at 1104. Washington State is sixth at 1105.
The Pac-10 Tournament counts the best five of six scores over 72 holes.
Individually for the Bruins, freshman Breene Murphy is tied for 18th at 218, two-over par. Sophomore Roy Moon is tied for 25th at 221 and senior Parker McLachlin is tied for 27th at 222. Sophomore John Merrick is tied for 38th at 225, freshman John Poucher is tied for 42nd at 227 and sophomore Steve Conway is tied for 42nd at 227.
Stanford's Jim Seki leads the field at six-under par 210 after posting an even par round of 72 Thursday. Michael Jurgensen of Oregon State and Stanford's Philip Rowe are tied for second at 212.
Final round action continues on Saturday.
