Men's Tennis Travels To Pepperdine For Regionals

TEMPE, Ariz. - The Arizona State men's tennis team (12-9) will travel over to Malibu, California to compete in the NCAA Regionals hosted by Pepperdine University. The Sun Devils, who will be making their eighth regional appearance in the past nine years, will face Minnesota (16-7) in a first round match up on Saturday, May 11.

Pepperdine (22-5) will take on Richmond (17-9) in the other first round dual. The two first round winners will square off against one another on Sunday, May 12 with the champion advancing to the NCAA Round of 16 Team Championship hosted by Texas A&M, May 18.

Additionally, senior Matt Klinger was awarded a bid to the NCAA Individual Singles Championship, which will also take place at Texas A&M on May 22-27. The ASU doubles team of Mitchell Bowen and Klinger also were invited to the NCAA Doubles Championship as well, May 22-27.
