Ragland Nets 11 for Storm In Pro Debut

SALT LAKE CITY - In her professional debut for Seattle, former OSU basketball star Felicia Ragland went 4-for-5 from the floor to net 11 points in just 11 minutes as the Storm defeated the Utah Starzz.

In their first preseason game, the Storm hit six free throws in the final minute en route to a 69-64 victory over the Starzz. Lauren Jackson paced the Storm with 14 points, while Ragland, Semeka Randall, and Jamie Redd each tallied 11.

Before making the jump to the WNBA this spring, Ragland was named honorable mention Associated Press All-American for the second consecutive year, after finishing ranked in six Pac-10 statistical categories, leading all players in scoring (19.9 ppg.) and steals (2.47 spg.) Ragland was also named a District 8 All-American for the second consecutive year, and earned All-Pac-10 honors for the third time in her career.
