Bruins Finish 21st At NCAA Championships

The UCLA women's golf team finished 21st at the NCAA Championships, hosted by the University of Washington at Washington National Golf Course.

The Bruins posted a final round score of 295, seven-over par, for a 72-hole total of 1,204. Duke won the team title by six shots over Arizona, Auburn and Texas. The Blue Devils posted a four-round team total of 1,164, 12-over par.

Individually for UCLA, freshman Charlotte Mayorkas posted an even par 72 in the final round to finish in a tie for 50th place at 299. Freshman Yvonne Choe tied for 83rd at 305 after a 73 on Friday. Senior Alicia Um ended her UCLA career by finishing in a tie fo 88th place at 306 and sophomore Gina Umeck tied for 93rd at 307. Sophomore Melissa Martin tied for 95th at 308.
