Ahimsa Hodari Finishes Seventh at U.S. Junior Heptathlon Nationals

Berkeley, Ca - Ahimsa Hodari tallied 4,679 points to finish seventh at the 2002 United States Junior National Heptathlon Championships on Wednesday at Cal's Edwards Stadium.

Julie Pickler of Texas Express, won the competition with 5,338 points. Her twin sister, Diana, was second with 5,281 points. Thirteen competitors particpated.

During second day competition, Hodari collected 715 points in the long jump (18-2 1/2, 5.55m), 424 points in the javelin (89-4) and 790 points in the 800 meters (2:22.51).
