ESPN's Outside The Lines Features Cougar Football

PULLMAN, Wash. -- ESPN's most recent edition of Outside The Lines airs today and will feature Washington State University football.

The show will be broadcast at 4 p.m. Pacific and will re-air at 2 a.m., August 4 and 1 p.m., August 29. The episode looks at off-season football workouts for the Cougars, including following WSU Heisman Trophy candidate Jason Gesser through the team's program.

Gesser threw for 3,010 yards in 2001 and now ranks fifth on the Cougar passing and total offense career lists. Before the end of the 2002 season, the senior quarterback is expected to break all WSU career quarterback records, passing such Cougar greats as Jack Thompson, Drew Bledsoe, Ryan Leaf and Timm Rosenbach.
