A LOOK AT HAWAII: The Rainbow Wahine come into the weekend boasting a 1-0-1 mark after two home matches to begin the season. UH drew even with Alabama-Birmingham at 1-1 on a late goal from freshman Natasha Kai in the 79th minute. The teams then played to a standstill in two overtime sessions. The Wahine took control of Wyoming on Sunday with three first half goals en route to a 5-2 win. Kai put four shots on goal in the first 12 minutes on her way to setting the UH single-game shots record with 13.

A LOOK AT GONZAGA: The Bulldogs (0-2-0) dropped their first match of the year 2-1 at Air Force in a contest that saw GU keeper Ashlie Haugen save 12 shots on the day. The Bulldogs were outshot 21-15, but sophomore forward Annie Hawkins drove one of her team-leading six shots between the posts to take an early lead. On Monday, the Bulldogs fell 2-1 to Iowa State in Ames, Iowa. Hawkins gave the Bulldogs the first-half lead in the 36th minute, but the Cyclones came back to send it to overtime with a tally in the 85th minute. ISU won it eight minutes into the extra session.
