UCLA junior midfielder Adolfo Gregorio has been named the Pac-10 Men's Soccer Player of the Week for Aug. 27-Sept. 2.

Gregorio, from Hilmar, Calif., recorded two goals and one assist to lead the Bruins to a 4-1 season-opening victory against Boston University on Aug. 30. Gregorio's first goal was the game-winner, snapping a 1-1 tie in the 70th minute. He also assisted the Bruins' third goal in the 76th minute and scored again himself in the 79th minute. UCLA (2-0-0), ranked 12th by Soccer America and 13th in the NSCAA/adidas poll, returns to action Friday, Sept. 6 at Cal State Fullerton.

This is the first weekly honor for Gregorio and UCLA's ninth Player of the Week honor all-time.
