What's Happening This Week: The Washington State University men's golf is set to open the fall season at the Third Annual Badger Men's Golf Invitational Sept. 6-8 at Madison Wis. The 54-hole invitational will be played at University Ridge, a par 72, 6,888-yard Course that is home to the University of Wisconsin. The WSU Women's Team will travel to Colorado State to compete in the Ram/Ptarmigan Fall Classic Sept. 9-10.

Head Coach Walt Williams on the Badger Invitational: 'The Badger Invitational has a very strong field and we are excited about the opportunity to compete against some of these great schools that we haven't seen yet. The guys played very well in the qualifying and I am excited about the two newcomers to our team. Ryan Ressa is a very composed and consistent player and has a very solid demeanor on the golf course. Ben Bryson brings consistent long arching drives off the tea and we are very excited about his future. I think we have very talented players that can use the opportunity of traveling to a place we haven't been t and come together as a team.

WSU Men at the Badger Invitational: WSU men's golf will make its first trip to Wisconsin this Friday. Dustin White, Isaac Woods, Ryan Camp, Ryan Ressa, Ben Bryson will represent WSU at Wisconsin. The tournament field consists of 15 teams with end of last season rankings from including Toledo (14), Illinois (15), WSU (32), Lamar (43), Coastal Carolina (56), UNC-Wilmington (67), Penn State (71), Colorado State (80), Georgia State (87), Indiana (95), Xavier (98), Western Kentucky (100), Long Beach State (101), Wisconsin (117), Iowa (119).

Aces in the Hole: Dustin White played in three tournaments this summer and won all three of them. Isaac Woods competed in five tournaments, placing second once, and missing the U.S. Amateur by one shot. Ryan Camp brings back to the squad a steady putter and consistent play that ranked helped rank the Cougar Men sixth in the nation in par 4 scoring (4.14), and were ninth in par 5 scoring (4.80), according to
