Former Basketball Player Glenn Barlow Passes Away At Age 75

Former men's basketball player Glenn Barlow, 75, passed away on Friday, Sept. 13. Barlow played for ASU 1949-50 under Bill Kajikawa.
Barlow was a husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, schoolteacher, administrator, native Arizonan and American. Glenn played basketball at Phoenix College and ASU and was a member of the ASU Sun Angel Foundation. He also was a football and basketball official for many years. He officiated in the Western Athletic Conference, retiring when ASU went into the Pac-10. Glenn is survived by his wife, Sheila, sons, Daniel, David, Dean, Don, Scott Ruth and daughter Michelle Smith, 9 grandchildren, and 2 great grandsons. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, 9/21/02 at 11 a.m. at Griffith School, 4505 E. Palm Lane, Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial donations to Hospice of he Valley, 1510 E.
