Withers' goal took Stanford into the break with a 3-0 lead at 34:24. Stanford did not allow a Gator shot in the half, outshooting them 12-0.

Leah Tapscott (Madison, WI) passed the ball to Allyson Marquand (Irvine, CA), who found the back of the net for her first goal of the season from 25 yards out.
The Gators threaten in the 92nd minute when Crystal Frimpong nearly got a shot off, but Barnhart stepped up and stopped the play, sealing her fifth shutout of the season. Stanford outshot Florida 19-2 for the game, led by Ward's five shots. Kellgren recorded seven saves in goal for the Gators, while Barnhart had one.
