ROCKY FACE, Ga. - The University of Arizona men's golf team managed to post its best round of the tournament Sunday, but it wasn't enough to move up the leaderboard, as the team finished in 14th place at the Carpet Capital Collegiate.

The fourth-ranked Wildcats posted a final-round 291 (+3) and finished 14th out of 18 teams with an 881 (+17) total. Nallen had one of two UA rounds at par or better on Sunday. It was his second top-10 finish of the season and the 10th of his career. Bill Haas of Wake Forest and Troy Matteson of Georgia Tech shared individual medalist honors, as each finished the 54-hole event with 205 (-11) totals.

Also competing for the Wildcats was senior Ricky Barnes, who tied for 36th place at 220 (+4), freshman Blaine Peffley, who tied for 61st at 225 (+9), senior Reid Hatley, who tied for 66th at 226 (+10) and junior Andy Connell, who tied for 83rd at 233 (+17).
