Kops-Jones Loses in Second Round of All-Americans

Pacific Palisades, Calif. - Cal junior Raquel Kops-Jones, the lone remaining Golden Bear at the women's All-American Championships, lost her second round match today to end her tournament run. Georgia's Agata Cioroch, the No. 2-seed dropped Kops-Jones in straight sets, 6-2, 6-1.

After losing her first round match yesterday to USC's Jewel Peterson, Cal junior Catherine Lynch lost her first round consolation match, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 to Sadhaf Pervez of Ohio State.

Lynch and Kops-Jones were the only Bears to take part in the main draw competition at the All-Americans this year.
