Men's and Women's Basketball to Hold Charity Event Clinics

Corvallis, Ore. - The Oregon State University men's and women's basketball teams will hold two clinics in OSU's Gill Coliseum to help promote the local Toys for Tots program. The clinics will provide an opportunity for area youth to meet the teams and improve their basketball skills.

The first clinic will be held Tues., Nov. 5 from 7-8:30 p.m. and is open to individuals in grades three through five. The second clinic, which will be held Wed., Nov. 6 from 7-8:30 p.m., is for individuals in grades six through eight.

Admission to each clinic is a donation of one new toy. The Vina Moses Center, a non-profit Benton County charity, will distribute the toys collected.

The clinics are sponsored by the OSU Department of Athletics, Corvallis Parks and Recreation, Corvallis Youth Volunteer Corps, and the Corvallis Gazette-Times.
