Arizona Picked To Win Pac-10 Title In Media Poll

LOS ANGELES--The ARIZONA Wildcats are the unanimous favorite to finish first in the 2002-03 Pacific-10 Conference Men's basketball race, according to a poll of media members who cover Pac-10 men's basketball.
The poll shows Arizona, the defending Pac-10 Tournament champions, gathered all 27 first-place votes and are tabbed the favorite this season. Defending Pac-10 champion OREGON is picked for second place, followed by UCLA for third place. ARIZONA STATE is picked for fourth, edging out CALIFORNIA and USC. STANFORD follows in seventh place. WASHINGTON gets the nod for eighth, while OREGON STATE and WASHINGTON STATE round out the preseason poll.
