Men's Basketball Player Serge Angounou Expected To Be Out For Four Weeks

Arizona State freshman Serge Angounou, a 6-8 freshman from Albuquerque, N.M., will be out at least four weeks after having surgery on Friday (Nov. 15). Angounou will have arthroscopic surgery on his right knee to remove bone fragments. He hurt the knee Thursday in the second half of ASU's 107-89 exhibition win over EA Sports All-Stars.

ASU will play eight games in the next four weeks, beginning with its opener on Nov. 22 against Morehead State at 5:30. ASU takes on 17th-ranked Kentucky in the first round of the Maui Invitational on Nov. 25 at 7 p.m. MST on ESPN.
