Washington State Host Lewis-Clark State Monday

PULLMAN, Wash. -- The Washington State men's basketball team will close out its exhibition season hosting Lewis-Clark State at 7 p.m. Monday.

The Cougars won their exhibition opener 109-89 over Australia Institute of Sport last Thursday.

In the opener, seven players scored in double figures for WSU led by junior Marcus Moore's 28 points and 10 assists, both game highs. Sophomore Shami Gill also recorded a double-double with 10 points and a game-high 12 rebounds.

The game against the Warriors will serve as the final tuneup for the Cougars regular season opener against San Jose State.

WSU will host the Spartans Saturday at 11 a.m., prior to the Apple Cup.
