Game Notes
Washington vs. Saint Bonaventure
Seattle Times Husky Classic
Sunday, Nov. 29, 2002

Washington's 105-48 win improved the team's all-time record in the Seattle Times Husky Classic to 25-6, including a perfect 16-0 record in STHC openers.

The Huskies' 57-point margin of victory was the largest ever in Seattle Times Husky Classic game, breaking the previous mark of 50 set by Louisiana Tech in a 107-57 romp over Eastern Washington in 1987. The margin equaled the sixth-largest in Husky history.

Washington cracked the century mark in scoring for the first time since Nov. 26, 1993, when the Huskies defeated West Virginia, 105-47. The 100-point output is, therefore, the first at Washington in the June Daugherty era.

The Huskies' 105 points equal the eighth-most in school history.

Washington's 16 three-point field goals made equal the Pac-10 record shared by both the Huskies and Stanford. The UW has accomplished the feat twice, including in a 98-88 win over Arizona on Feb. 8, 2001, while the Cardinal has also done so twice, vs. UCLA on Feb. 24, 2002, and vs. Washington, Feb. 24, 2001.

The team hit 16 of 28 three-point attempts, a .571 clip that shattered the previous school record of .556 (5 for 9) set in March of 1994 against California.

Washington also set or equaled many other Seattle Times Husky Classic records, including:

Tied record for field-goals made with 43, a record previously set by Louisiana Tech in its 107-57 victory over Eastern Washington in 1987.

Set new records for 3-pointers made (16) and three-point field-goal percentage (.571, 16x28). Old record for three-pointers was 13, by UW vs. NC State in 1997, and .556 (10x18) by Santa Clara vs. UW in 2001.

Set new record for team assists with 30, shattering previous record of 26 set by James Madison vs. Western Michigan in 2000.

The Huskies' nine turnovers equaled the all-time tournament low, set by Loyola-Marymount vs. Western Michigan set in 2000.

The Huskies' bench totaled 46 points in the game, opposite 48 for the entire Bonnies' team.
