<b>54th Annual Husky Invitational Preview</b>

SEATTLE --- The No. 25 ranked Washington swimming teams will host the 54th Annual Husky Invitational December 5-8 at the Weyerhauser King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way.

The meet will include 535 swimmers representing 60 different club and college teams, including conference foes UCLA and Oregon State. The meet will also feature numerous collegiate programs from the Northwest headlined by Seattle University, Central Washington, Whitworth and Puget Sound.

The meet will be formatted like the NCAA Championships with the 1000 freestyle event taking place on Thursday evening at 6 p.m. Competition over the next three days will include the preliminary races at 9:30 a.m. Event finals will began at 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Team Championships will be awarded in college and club divisions as well as Individual High Point Awards for the top male and female swimmer.

Last year, the Washington men won the college division while UCLA claimed the women's title.

The Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center is located at 650 SW Campus Drive in Federal Way. Daily meet recaps and results will be updated on www.gohuskies.com.
