Corvallis, Ore. - Beaver football fans you can make a difference in where the team plays its postseason bowl game. The next three days are CRITICAL in terms of Sunday's bowl announcement. By completing your bowl application form and submitting, OSU officials under the leadership of Director of Athletics Bob De Carolis, will continue to make a case for how Beaver fans travel to any locale to follow their team.

'We have talked to the various bowl representatives and Oregon State is a very attractive program,' De Carolis said. 'There is a lot of good competition for the bowls at this time - what would give Oregon State the edge is for the Beaver Nation to order their tickets over the next 48-plus hours.'

The Oregon State Athletics Ticket Office has extended their hours to 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. beginning Friday through the weekend. The bowl application form is available online at osubeavers.com under the tickets section or you may order tickets by calling the Beaver Bowl Game Hotline at 1-800-462-3287.

'If Washington State defeats UCLA Saturday, the bowl decision for Oregon State would be made Sunday morning,' De Carolis continued. 'We have a great opportunity to impact that decision, but we need to show our support NOW!'

There is a sense of urgency for the Beaver Nation to act,' De Carolis said. 'The Pacific Life Holiday Bowl, for example, has an allotment of only 11,500 tickets for each participating school.'

Have your order form in the Ticket Office no later than, December 9, 2002. Orders will be accepted until December 16, 2002. However, these orders will not receive priority.
