<b>Husky Swimmers Make Their Mark at the Second Day of the Husky Invitational</b>

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. - The 25th ranked University of Washington men's and women's swimming teams continued to dominate in the second day of competition at the 54th Annual Husky Invitational at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center. Washington scored four first place victories, the most by a university or club team during this evening's competition.
Washington junior Luke Ekhoff scored a season best, winning the 200 individual medley relay in 1:48.50. Washington senior Kim Harada captured first place with a season best in the 50 freestyle with a time of 22.87.
The Washington men's relay teams took first and second place in both relay events of the night. The University of Washington 'A' team in the men's 200 freestyle relay placed first with a season best of 1:22.22. The University of Washington 'B' team finished a close second with a time of 1:24.26. In the 400 medley relay, the University of Washington 'A' team took first with a time of 3:18.23, while the University of Washington 'B' team came in second with a time of 3:25.52.
The third day of Husky Invitational continues tomorrow, Dec. 7. Preliminaries begin at 9:30 am. and finals begin at 6:00 p.m. The Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center is located at 650 SW Campus Drive in Federal Way.
