AUSTIN, Texas -- The 20th-ranked Arizona State women's swimming and diving team stayed in fifth-place after the second day of competition at the Texas Invitational. gnes Kovcs again provided an excellent performance for the Sun Devils, as she became only the second ASU women's swimmer in school history to swim the 100 breaststroke in under a minute (59.92). In the 200 freestyle, Petra Banovic touched the wall in 1:48.70, which is the fastest time for ASU this season and an NCAA 'B' time. She finished fifth. In the same event, Florencia Szigeti finished 10th (1:49.06), which is also a 'B' standard and the second fastest time by a Devil this campaign.
