500 Tickets Still Available for Upcoming Duck Basketball at Mac Court
Dec. 12, 2002
EUGENE, Ore. - There are still 500 reserved seats available for Oregon men's basketball games against 25th-ranked Minnesota on Dec. 22 and Pac-10 foe Arizona State on Jan. 4, the UO athletic department announced Thursday.
'People may not realize that we still have good seats left for Minnesota and Arizona State, among others, because the student allotment is lower for games played when school is not in session,' said Steve Bianco, UO's director of athletic ticket sales, who added that there will be no general admission sales for the rest of the games through Jan. 4 because students claimed all those available tickets earlier this week.
The Athletic Department is offering a special 'Holiday Hoopla' package, while supplies last. For just $40, fans will receive a reserved ticket for the Dec. 20 Minnesota, Dec. 28 UC Riverside and Jan. 4 Arizona State games, and the Dec. 27 UCLA and Dec. 29 USC women's games. The savings on the Holiday Hoopla package is $41 off the full price of reserved seats.
There are more than 1,500 reserved seats remaining for another two games that fall during winter break, including Florida A&M on Dec. 20, which will be Oregon's first game at McArthur Court following last Saturday's win against Kansas in Portland plus the upcoming two-game road trip against Pepperdine and Cincinnati. The other is UC Riverside on Dec. 28.
For games after New Year's, the only one with more than 100 seats remaining is the Jan. 4 Arizona State game, which will be the Ducks' only Pac-10 home game not televised in the State of Oregon. Less than 100 reserved seats remain for the Jan. 23 Washington and Jan. 25 Washington State games.
Obstructed view reserved is all that remains for the Jan. 18 Oregon State, Feb. 6 Stanford, Feb. 8 California and Feb. 27 USC games. Arizona on Jan. 2 and UCLA on March 1 are completely sold out.
Fans may purchase the Holiday Hoopla package, or tickets for any remaining individual games, by calling the UO ticket office at 346-4461 or 1-800-WEBFOOT, or by visiting the UO ticket office in person inside the Len Casanova Center.
