Huskies Crush Golden Panthers

SEATTLE (AP) - Nate Robinson scored 14 points to lead Washington to a 83-48victory over Florida International on Saturday.

Robinson hit 6-of-10 from the field. He has reached double-digit scoring inhis last three games, averaging 17.3 points per game.

Washington (3-4) made 10-of-19 from beyond the 3-point line, including threestraight by David Hudson on the Huskies' final three possessions.

The Golden Panthers (4-6) scored the first two baskets of the second half,but the Huskies responded with a 13-2 run to take a 48-27 lead.

Florida International came back with an 8-0 run, but Robinson hit a3-pointer and then a fast break layup that pushed the Huskies' lead to 18 at53-35.

Washington's Curtis Allen scored a season-high 13, including 3-of-6 from3-point range. Jeffrey Day added 10.

The Huskies have won three of their last four games and have two remainingin December before the start of Pac-10 play.

Florida International's Al Harris had 14 points and nine rebounds. RodrigoViegas added 10. The Golden Panthers have lost their last six games.
