BYU Men's Swimming Defeats No. 24 Washington, 127-72

PROVO, Utah -- The No. 24 ranked Washington men's swimming team lost its second dual meet in as many nights, dropping to BYU, 127-72.

Sophomores Craig Gillis (Calgary, Alberta) and Diogo Bezerra (Recife, Brazil) and junior Luke Ekhoff (Portland, Ore.) were the only bright spots for the Huskies, each posting an individual victory.

Gillis won the 200 butterfly (1:56.22), Bezerra won the 200 backstroke (1:52.10) and Ekhoff finished first in his signature event, the 200 breaststroke (2:04.36).

The Huskies return to action tomorrow as both the men's and women's teams take on Utah at 11:00 a.m.
