Jan. 23, 2003

The 2003 UCLA softball team will open its spring schedule this Saturday, January 25, with a 1 pm contest involving current and former players at Easton Stadium. The game will be preceeded by a clinic held on the UCLA campus. Persons interested in the clinic should contact the UCLA Camps office at 310-206-3550.

Four of UCLA's seven Olympic gold medalists from the 2000 Sydney Games will participate on Saturday, including Sheila Cornell-Douty, Amanda Freed, Stacey Nuveman and current volunteer assistant coach Lisa Fernandez.
