Arizona Men's Tennis Ranked No. 62 in Latest Poll

TUCSON, Ariz. - The Arizona men's tennis team (1-0, 0-0 Pac-10) fell one spot this week to No. 62 in the latest edition of the Omni Hotels Collegiate Tennis Rankings, administered by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

Although the Wildcats defeated Santa Clara in their first match of the season, Arizona dropped one position. The Wildcats opened the season at home where they faced the Broncos of Santa Clara January 25. The match opened with Santa Clara winning two of the three doubles matches, earning the doubles point. The Wildcats bounced back in singles play where they went on to earn all six points. Clinching the match for Arizona was Colin O'Grady who played in the No. 3 position and defeated Frederico Mattioli of Santa Clara, 6-4, 6-4.

The Wildcats will be in action next against the University of San Diego in San Diego, Calif., on Saturday at 12:00 p.m.
