FORT WORTH, Texas - No. 19 Washington men's tennis (4-0) won the TCU Shootout with 4-1 victory over No. 17 Pepperdine at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center in Fort Worth, Texas, Sunday.

The Huskies advanced to the championship dual after a 4-1 win over the host TCU Horned Frogs, Saturday. UW won two of the three doubles matches and four of the six singles matches versus Pepperdine to take home its fourth-straight dual win without a loss this season.

UW's No. 1 doubles team of senior Ari Strasberg and sophomore Alex Vlaski defeated Calle Hansen and Diego Acuna , 8-5, while freshman Fred Sundsten and junior Nick Weiss picked up a win in the No. 3 position.

Hanlin and Vlaski, playing at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, earned their wins in straight sets, as did sophomore Peter Scharler in the No. 6 position.
