Homecoming Celebration This Weekend

Corvallis, Ore. - More than 90 former Oregon State University men's basketball players, coaches, and other personnel will return to the Oregon State University campus for the first annual men's basketball Homecoming celebration Feb. 8-9. The event celebrates one of college basketball's most successful programs.
The Homecoming celebration coincides with the program's home game vs. the No. 25 Stanford Cardinal, Sun., Feb. 9 at 12:30 p.m. The entire cast of former Beavers will be introduced at halftime and will be available for autographs during postgame festivities.
Among the many guests will be former Beaver All-Americans Ray Blume, Mel Counts, Cliff Crandall, Dave Gambee, Jim Jarvis, Steve Johnson, Ed Lewis, John Mandic, Wally Palmberg, Red Rocha, Charlie Sitton, and Charlie White. Many other former coaches, including Paul Valenti and Jim Anderson, and administrators will be in attendance.
Every Beaver basketball era from 1931 through the present will be represented during the weekend.
