Women's Tennis Hosts Sacramento State

EUGENE - The No. 49 Oregon women's tennis team will play No. 75 Sacramento State Friday at 6:30 p.m. at the Student Tennis Center. The Ducks (3-1) will try and extend their overall winning streak to four matches.

No. 28-ranked Daria Panova has won all four matches she has played in the dual season, with junior Courtney Nagle sporting a record of 3-1. In Oregon's last two matches, the Ducks won every set in singles play.

One of Oregon's strengths so far this season has been its doubles play. The Ducks have won the doubles point in all four matches, while sweeping the doubles in the past two matches.

The Hornets are led by No. 51-ranked Marta Karnaukhova, who is 3-0 in dual matches so far this season. Petra Abraham has also not lost a singles match so far this season, playing at the No. 4 position.

Oregon will play Pacific Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Student Tennis Center, with two matches following on Sunday.
