OSU-USC Football Game Moved To Dec. 6 For National TV

Corvallis, Ore. - The Pacific-10 Conference and ABC television announced Friday that Oregon State and USC will play football on December 6 in Los Angeles in a national televised game on ABC's championship Saturday this fall.

The Beavers and Trojans were scheduled to play in Los Angeles on Saturday, November 8 prior to the switch.

OSU and USC will play at 1:30 p.m. at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Notre Dame will play Syracuse in the morning game, followed by OSU and USC and the Big 12 Conference championship game will follow the Beavers and the Trojans.

This is the second time in three years that Oregon State has been selected to participate in a nationally televised game on ABC during championship Saturday. The Beavers played at Oregon on December 1, 2001 in their first appearance on championship Saturday.
