No. 8 Women's Tennis Fall to No. 3 USC Women of Troy 7-0

Feb. 22, 2003

Tempe, AZ - The Sun Devils' incredible win streak finally came to an end on Saturday afternoon with an exhausting match against the No. 3 USC Women of Troy.

The Devils seemed to be just unable to shake the fatigue from their incredible win against the No. 9 UCLA the day before, falling to USC 7-0.

The Devils were also without the help of the No. 39-ranked Dora Krstulovic, who was sidelined for the contest.

In doubles action, the No.37-ranked team of Mhairi Brown and Cindy Sureephong took a well-earned 8-5 victory over Tiffany Brymer and Anita Loyola.

The 6-1 Sun Devils will return to action on Wednesday against the University of Arizona Wildcats in Tucson, Arizona, in their first of three road matches.
