Women's Basketball Finishes Pac-10 Season at USC, UCLA
Feb. 25, 2003
The Ducks (11-14, 7-9), embark on their final regular-season road trip this week, taking on USC (12-15, 7-9) on Thursday at 7 p.m. and UCLA (15-10, 10-8) on Saturday at 2 p.m.
Pac-10 Tourney Scenarios
If Oregon defeats USC, and Arizona State does no better than a split against Stanford and Cal, the Ducks would claim to the No. 6 seed in the Pac-10 Tournament. Even if Oregon and USC are tied, the Ducks would win the tie-breaker because they would have swept the series. If Oregon loses to USC, it could finish no higher than seventh in the conference. If the Ducks sweep the L.A. schools and Oregon State loses twice this week, Oregon would finish fifth.
The Oregon-UCLA game will be televised live on Fox Sports Net with Jim Watson on play-by-play along with analyst Tammy Blackburn. All Oregon women's basketball games also are broadcast by KSCR (1320 AM) in Eugene and KUIK (1360 AM) in Portland, with Ray Martin providing the play-by-play for the eighth consecutive year. Radio broadcasts also can be heard via Yahoo! on www.GoDucks.com.
