2003 PAC-10 CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 44th Pacific-10 Conference Wrestling Championships will take place Sunday, March 2, and Monday, March 3, at BSU Pavilion on the campus of Boise State University in Boise, Idaho. The two-day tournament is divided into four sessions culminating with the championship finals matches Monday evening. First-round action commences at 11 a.m. PST on Sunday morning. Championship finals begin at 6:30 p.m. PST Monday night. Following is the tournament schedule. Note that times listed are Pacific Standard Times (PST).

Sunday, March 2
11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Session I (Pigtails & Quarter.)
6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Session II (Consolation & Semis)
Monday, March 3
11 a.m - 4 p.m. Session III (Consolation Semifinals & Fifth-Place matches)
6:30 p.m. Session IV (Championship Finals & Third-Place matches)
There will be 10 institutions competing for the Conference Championship: No. 13 ARIZONA STATE, No. 11 BOISE STATE, UC DAVIS, CAL POLY, CS BAKERSFIELD, CS FULLERTON, OREGON, OREGON STATE, PORTLAND STATE and STANFORD.
The facility seats 12,300 people with all being available, if needed. Seating for the Pac-10 Championships is general admission only.
The Pac-10 wrestling coaches' seeding meeting will take place Saturday, March 1, at 2:00 p.m. (Allen Noble Hall of Fame - Early Years). At that time, technical/seeding aspects of the meet will be discussed, along with agenda items submitted to the Pac-10 office. The attendance of each head coach is mandatory.
Max Corbet, Assistant Athletic Director/Media Relations at Boise State University, will coordinate the media for the 2003 Pac-10 Championships. All requests for press credentials should be directed to Corbet at (208) 426-1515. All Pac-10 Championship results will be updated daily on the Boise State Athletics' web page, www.broncosports.com.
Single Session tickets are $7 per adult and $5 for juniors (high school students and younger) and seniors. All sessions passes are priced at $25 for adults and $18 for children, juniors and seniors. Child tickets start at age 3. For more information, contact the Boise State ticket office at (208) 426-1385. Tickets will also be available at the ticket booths of BSU Pavilion on March 2-3.
AT STAKEIn addition to the Pac-10 championship, at stake is a berth to the NCAA Championships, which will take place March 20-22 at Kemper Arena in Kansas City, Mo. The top four wrestlers in each weight class will automatically qualify for the NCAA Championships, along with three other at-large bids.
There will be a press conference and no-host social at the Red Lion Downtown on Saturday, March 1st at 6 p.m. During the Championships, student-athletes will be escorted to a designated post-event area shortly after the conclusion of an event. At this time they may be asked to to grant interviews to members of the media
