Buffs Edged By Mizzou, 4-3

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The University of Colorado women's tennis team dropped its second straight Big 12 match on the season falling to No. 46 Missouri, 4-3, Saturday afternoon at the University of Missouri.

The Tigers took two of three doubles to clinch the doubles point, and then split the singles action at 3-3 to take the match. Colorado secured singles points at No. 4 through No. 6 as sophomore Kendra Strandemo, freshman Jessica Vanderdys and junior Morgan Sall won their respective matches in straight sets.

With Mizzou taking the doubles points and a 1-0 advantage, the home team would go on to win the No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 singles slots. Senior Dominique Lemperle went three sets against the No. 26th ranked singles player at No. 1 singles, however lost to Urska Juric, 6-2, 6-7 (5), 6-1.

Colorado drops to 5-3 overall and 0-2 in the Big 12, while the Tigers improve to 7-1 and remain unbeaten in conference play (3-0).
