UCLA and USC To Play Football On Championship Saturday

The UCLA and USC football teams have agreed to move their games in 2004 and 2005 to 'Championship Saturday.' Both games will be televised nationally by ABC Sports.

In 2004, the game at the Rose Bowl will be played on Dec. 4. In 2005, the game at the Coliseum will be played on Dec. 3.

This past season, UCLA's home game against Washington State was played on 'Championship Saturday.'

In other scheduling matters, UCLA's game in 2004 against San Diego State at the Rose Bowl has been moved from Sept. 25 to Oct. 2.

UCLA's 2003 home schedule includes games against Illinois (Sept. 13), San Diego State (Sept. 27), Washington (Oct. 4), California (Oct. 18), Arizona State (Oct. 25) and Oregon (Nov. 15). Season and individual game tickets will go on sale on April 7 and will be available by calling the UCLA Central Ticket Office at 310/UCLA-WIN or by visiting www.uclabruins.com.
