Beavers Travel To Portland On Saturday

March 7, 2003

CORVALLIS, Ore. - Oregon State and Portland will attempt to play the first game of their in-state series on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at UP's Pilot Stadium. The Beavers (7-7 overall) and Pilots (3-8) were rained out Tuesday and Friday. The teams will also try to play on Sunday, with the site to be determined on Saturday evening based on which school's field is more likely to be playable.

If any of this weekend's games are played at OSU's Goss Stadium at Coleman Field, admission will be free. Holders of Oregon State season tickets will be entitled to their season ticket seats for those games.

The next regularly-scheduled home action for the Beavers is a midweek series against Washington, with games Tuesday at 3 p.m. and Wednesday at 1 p.m.
