No. 19 Softball To Miss Games At Colorado State

March 18, 2003

EUGENE - The 19th-ranked University of Oregon softball team will miss out on three more games as heavy snow in Colorado will prevent the Ducks from traveling to Fort Collins to play at Colorado State. Oregon was scheduled to play a doubleheader versus the Rams Sunday and a single game Monday. The games will not be made up.

With the cancellation of the three games, the Ducks have now missed seven of their scheduled preseason games. Oregon was also forced to reschedule its doubleheader with Portland State at Howe Field because of heavy winds and rain last last week. The games have been rescheduled for April 9 at 2 p.m.

Oregon's next scheduled games are at No. 13 Arizona State Friday and at No. 2 Arizona Saturday and Sunday.
