March 21, 2003

EUGENE, Ore. - Washington's NCAA Women's Basketball Championship first-round game versus Wisconsin-Green Bay on Saturday, March 22, at McArthur Court has been moved back to a 7:06 p.m. tip-off, the NCAA announced Friday evening.

The time change was impacted by television conflicts and the events taking place in the Middle East. The game will still be televised live on ESPN2. The second game between Louisiana State and Southwest Texas will tip-off 30 minutes following the match-up between the Huskies and Phoenix.

The Huskies' pre-game rally will still be held at the Wild Duck Restaurant & Brewery in Eugene from 3:30-5 p.m. Doors to McArthur Court will also still open at the regularly scheduled time of 4:30 p.m.
