LOS ANGELES - Ryan Haag's RBI single in the top of the eighth provided the go-ahead run Tuesday and the Fresno State Bulldogs defeated the host USC Trojans, 11-9, in non-conference action at Dedeaux Field. The Bulldogs rallied from a 5-1 deficit with five runs in the fifth inning.

Sophomore first baseman Joey Metropoulos went 3-for-5 with two home runs and six RBI in a losing cause for the Trojans.

The first five Bulldog batters reached base safely as the rally was capped by a two-run single by Kent Sakamoto and RBI double by center fielder Scott Beshears.
