Three Bruins Named To All-Pac-10 Gymnastics Team

Walnut Creek, CA - UCLA gymnasts Kate Richardson (Coquitlam, BC, Canada), Onnie Willis (Tacoma, WA) and Jeanette Antolin (Huntington Beach, CA) were named to the 2003 Pac-10 All-Conference team. All three were selected in the all-around and on vault and combined for nine honors, the most in the Pac-10 this year.
Richardson, the Pac-10 Freshman of the Year, earned the most individual honors with four. She was selected in the all-around, vault, beam and floor. At the Pac-10 Championships, she placed first in the all-around with a meet record 39.825 and won the floor exercise with a perfect 10. She also placed second on vault and balance beam.
Willis, a senior and the Pac-10's Gymnast of the Year, received All-Pac-10 honors in the all-around and on vault for the second consecutive year and was selected for the first time on the uneven bars. In her career, she has earned five all-conference awards.
Antolin, a junior, makes her first-ever appearance on the All-Pac-10 team, receiving acclaim in the all-around and vault. At the Pac-10 Championships, she placed second in the all-around with a career-high 39.7 and won the vault with a perfect 10.
All-Conference honors are based on Regional Qualifying Score (50%) and Pac-10 Championship score (50%).
