Softball Set To Host Dinner With The Dawgs & Silent Auction On May 4

SEATTLE-The Washington softball program will host the 2003 Dinner with the Dawgs and Silent Action on Sunday, May 4, in the Don James Center at Husky Stadium in conjunction with the Huskies' final regular-season home game of the season against the Oregon Ducks at 1 p.m.
The Silent Auction will begin at 11 a.m. and will continue throughout the game. Items will be placed on Purple, Silver and Gold tables, and the tables will close on a stepped schedule with the final closing at approximately 4:30 p.m. Outback Steakhouse will cater a steak and chicken dinner for $15 a person (children 5 and under are free) beginning immediately after the game. The event will proceed as planned in the event a rainout should occur. Purchase of a meal ticket is not mandatory to participate in the auction.
Following are a few of the items up for bid at this year's auction. All donations are tax deductible and will go directly to help support Husky Softball.
o Autographed team jerseys of UW softball coach Teresa Wilson, every 2003 Husky softball player, and select UW softball alumnae.
o Pencil sketch of UW football coach Rick Neuheisel by Michael G. Reagan, signed by Coach Neuheisel. (See Michael G. Reagan's work at www.michaelgreaganartist.com.)
o Sideline passes and Athletic Director box tickets to Husky football games
o 4-night stay at the Kintla Lodge at Big Mountain Ski & Summer Resort in Whitefish, Montana

o Many opportunities to spend time with the Husky players and coaches, such as dinner with the coaches at the Metropolitan Grill, a barbecue or a round of golf with assistant coaches Scott Centala and Steve Dailey, dinner cooked at your house by #31 Kristen Rivera and #21 Kathy Fiske, bowling with #12 Rita Roach & Co., and campus tours and ice cream outings with various Husky players
