WSU Men in Ninth Place after Two Rounds at U.S. Intercollegiate

STANFORD, Calif. - Led by the 4-under performance by Ryan Ressa on day one, the Washington State men's golf team is in ninth place at the US. Intercollegiate at the Par 72, 6,786 yard Stanford Golf Course at Stanford, Calif.
Ressa started out the day with a 1-over round of 72 before exploding for a 66, the second lowest single round scoring mark of the year for the Cougars. Ressa is joined by Isaac Woods in the Top 25 after Woods put together two solid rounds of par or under to finish the day tied for eleventh at 1-under.
The Cougars as a team shot a spring low round total of 283 in the second to finish the day at ninth and just two strokes back of seventh place.
The Cougars face the field of 17 in the final round of the U.S. Intercollegiate at Stanford, Calif., tomorrow morning beginning at 8 a.m.
