PULLMAN, Wash.- Amy Toth has signed a National Letter of Intent for women's tennis, Cougar Head Coach Cari Groce announced Thursday.
Toth is originally from Budapest, Hungary and comes to WSU from Mississauga, Ontario. Toth is enrolled at Glenforest Secondary School and will enter WSU as a freshman in the fall.
'It's unlimited what she can bring to WSU,' Groce said. 'She's one of the top recruits in the country and she was recruited by many of the top programs. Her Hungarian heritage led her to WSU. She really liked the campus and the thought of playing tennis in the Pac-10. We're very excited to have her join the Cougar tennis program.'The Cougars, ranked No. 53 nationally, do not have a senior on the roster this season.
