Five Bruins Earn NFCA All-Pacific Region Honors

The 2003 NFCA Pacific All-Region teams were announced on Wednesday, and UCLA had a region-leading four athletes on the All-Region first team. Keira Goerl (Jr./P), Tairia Mims (Sr./Util.), Claire Sua (Jr./DP) and Natasha Watley (Sr./SS) were named to the first team while freshman Caitlin Benyi (Fr./OF) was named to the second team.

All five players are now eligible for NFCA All-America honors. The 2003 NFCA All-America team will be announced next week at the opening ceremonies of the Women's College World Series.
