12 Bruins Qualify for NCAA Championships

The Bruin men have qualified 12 athletes to compete at the NCAA Championships, June 11-14 in Sacramento, CA. In addition to the 10 athletes who automatically qualified at the NCAA West Regionals last weekend (top-five finishers), two Bruins have advanced as at-large qualifiers (announced June 2). Sophomore Erik Emilsson is an at-large qualifier in the 3000m steeplechase and freshman Jeremy Silverman is an at-large qualifier in the shot put.

400m - Freshman Craig Everhart
800m - Junior Nick Thornton
3000m SC - Sophomore Erik Emilsson
400m Hurdles - Seniors Kyle Erickson and John Barbieri, Sophomore Jonathan Williams
Pole Vault - Junior Pat Luke, Sophomore Yoo Kim
Long Jump - Junior Juaune Armon
Shot Put - Senior Scott Wiegand, Junior Dan Ames, Freshman Jeremy Silverman
Discus - Wiegand, Ames
