Denove and Jensen Named to All-Academic Pac-10 Teams

Redshirt freshman Chris Denove and sophomore Chris Jensen were both named to the Pac-10 All-Academic Second Team, Comissioner Tom Hansen announced on Monday morning. The honor is the first for both players.
Denove, who started 39 games behind the plate before being sidelined with an injury at Arizona State posted a 3.33 GPA as a Math/Computer Science major. Prior to his injury, Denove was leading the team in hits with 45 in his 39 games for a .319 average. He finished the season with six home runs and 26 RBI.
Jensen, who made 17 starts in the outfield for the Bruins has a 3.40 GPA as a mechanical engineering major. He hit .272 on the season with two home runs and seven RBI.
